For this project, we leveraged a white-box penetration testing approach where we examined every aspect of the game’s architecture from top to bottom, including first-person shooter gameplay and microtransaction systems.
Our core focus was to scrutinize Mini Royale: Nations’ core components, such as:
– Physics
– Cosmetics
– Shop
– Registration
– Authentication
– Party system
– Clan system
– Battle pass
– Friends
With our security efforts, we made a tangible impact on the game’s robustness and safety so that all players could engage with it knowing that they were in a secure environment.

Since our work on the game began, Faraway has demonstrated a continued commitment to its security which has resonated with its community.
