Challenge
A free-to-play tactical mobile game, Raid Shadow Legends is a party turn-based combat. Players build a team from a roster of well over 400 champions from 16 factions. Each is unique in appearance, lore, backstory, and more importantly, in what they bring to your party. Given the monetization, the variety of activities that players can engage in, the resources for levelling up/upgrading, daily bonuses, and the battle system, we had more than enough on our hands to secure. Available on all mobile devices, Windows, and Mac, we had to guarantee safety and security across all the avenues of potential malicious activity.
Solution
Magic Media’s cybersecurity team were delighted to conduct full-scale White Box penetration testing on Raid Shadow Legends. Created on Unreal Engine, we tested the game on PC & Mobile and the live services were a focus. This allowed our team full access to the source code and a capacity to waste no time on reconnaissance to discover potential access points.
