This month, Starloop Studios took a trip behind the scenes to learn about one of their Senior Unreal Developers, Mauro Juarez Ariño ‘Starloopian Story’ on how he took his passion for gaming and made it a career! Next, Starloop was so excited to share a new NFT game development case study with their followers. Binamon is a PvP-based MOBA focusing on ranged combat in an open battle arena. Learn how Starloop Studios delivered quick turnarounds and how they implemented NFTs into the game’s design!

As always, Starloop Studios provides their followers with incredible infographics. Recently, they shared an infographic regarding Unreal Engines emerging trends for 2022. This infographic gives a glimpse of the gateway that Unreal Engine has opened for many creators and game developers.

Magic Room

This month, Magic Room published a video giving an up close look at three characters they designed and created for the stunning ATB Arena trailer. Despite a tight schedule, their team was able to capture the client’s vision and work efficiently to bring it to life in the final trailer.

Next, they shared two of their project case study’s called ‘Let It Snow’ where the Magic Room team were tasked to create an avalanche. Check out the full case study and learn how the Magic Room team created this avalanche effect in 2 months!

Recently, Ringtail Studios published a short interview with Senior 3D Artist, Alexandr Savciuc talking about his experience in the industry and time at Ringtail. Next, Ringtail’s Moldovan office joined with several other studios to plant some trees to celebrate Earth day, check it out!

Breacher Up!” was just one of the many fantastic art pieces shared by the team at Ringtail Studios this month. Featuring a close look at an Alliance Shotgun, the artists made sure to give it the look and feel of the real thing, with all the chips and damage to a well-worn weapon.

Finally, Ringtail’s latest blog breaks down ‘Meeting AAA Game Standards’ focusing particularly on 3d characters! In this new blog series, Ringtail will be addressing several different aspects of game design, development and how they meet those evolving AAA standards for the industry.

This month, Igloo Creative House shared with their followers how the animatic (or videoboard) stage is one of the most important parts during video production. Check out some of the work they did for their Playtika’s Pirate Kings project. Next, Igloo published a new blog explaining what really goes into making their incredible videos! In their blog ‘How We Make Video Magic’ Igloo gives followers the step-by-step of how they make their client’s ideas come to life.

Over at Igloo Gaming, check out this video they made for Playstudio’s hit game Pop Slots! Using 2D animation, with a touch of 3D for the game’s customisable avatars, they highlighted the international community that Pop Slots fosters and the rewards waiting to be claimed. Lastly, check out this trailer Igloo Gaming made for Beach Bum’s Lord of the Board: Dice Quest, one of the world’s top-grossing backgammon games. Through their work they strove to use an immersive combination of 2D and 3D animation, and truly show how it feels to play the game!
