We are looking for a Visual Development Supervisor / Creative Director for a full-length feature film that combines multiple genres – a mixture of noir horrors, burlesque musicals, and future futuristic worlds. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind project.

As the Visual Development Supervisor for the feature film, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual direction and overall aesthetic of the film. You will collaborate closely with the Director, production designer, cinematographer, VFS supervisor, and other creative team members to create a cohesive and immersive visual experience that captures the essence of the Director’s vision.

Your expertize will drive not only visual effects but also the design of sets, costumes, and props, ensuring that each scene is a work of art that resonates with the audience.

What you will do: 

• Develop and present a compelling visual concept that combines the nuances of all styles mixture based on the Director’s vision.
• Closely collaborate with visual effects supervisor and artists to seamlessly integrate digital elements into practical sets, enhancing the cinematic experience.
• Supervise scenes’ previz.
• Collaborate with the production designer to design and oversee the creation of sets that evoke the desired atmosphere for each genre-blending scene.
• Manage a team of artists and craftsmen, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful execution of the artistic vision.
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date with visual trends and techniques relevant to all requested genres.
• To be present during the shooting period on set in the US to supervise overall visual style.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience as an Art Director on feature films, showcasing a strong portfolio of visually stunning and creatively diverse work.
• Profound understanding of requested styles, with the ability to blend these styles seamlessly.
• Team lead skills to effectively brief and supervise concept art teams.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for composition, color, and visual storytelling.
